Frequently asked questions

How do I use the letterhead in Word or Google Docs?

Download the header and footer PNGs. In Word, double-click the top of the page to open the header, insert the header image and stretch it to the page width; do the same in the footer. In Google Docs, use Insert › Headers & footers, then Insert › Image. Save the file as a template to reuse it.

How do I save my letter as a PDF?

Type your letter in the text box, then choose Print or save PDF. In the print dialog pick “Save as PDF” as the printer, set margins to None and scale to 100%.

What should a business letterhead include?

Your business name and logo, address, phone, email and website. Limited companies in many countries, including the UK and EU, must also show the registered name, company number and registered office address, and VAT-registered businesses often add their VAT number.

Should I choose A4 or US Letter?

Use A4 (210 × 297 mm) almost everywhere outside North America, and US Letter (8.5 × 11 in) in the US and Canada. The letterhead is laid out for the size you pick.
