How to make a business card

  1. 1

    Add your details

Enter your name, job title, company, phone, email and website. Only add what you want people to use.

  2. 2

    Add your logo and colour

Upload your logo (a PNG or SVG with a transparent background works best) and pick your brand colour.

  3. 3

Choose a design and the back

Pick Classic, Colour band, Centred or Dark, and choose whether the back has a QR code for your website or for saving your contact.

  4. 4

    Download or print

Download 300 DPI PNGs of the front and back for a print shop, or open a print sheet with 8–10 cards for your own printer.

A professional card in a minute

A business card is still the quickest way to leave your details. This maker lays out your name, title and contact details cleanly, uses your logo and colour, and adds a scannable QR code to the back so people can save your contact or visit your website without typing.

Printing tips

  • At a print shop: send the front and back PNGs, or the SVG, and ask for 350 gsm card or heavier.
  • At home: use the print sheet, print at 100% (actual size) on thick paper, and cut along the dashed lines.
  • Keep it readable: a name, one phone number, an email and a website are usually enough.

Match your stationery with the letterhead maker, and build a brand palette with the colour palette generator.

Frequently asked questions

What size is a business card?

The standard in the US and Canada is 3.5 × 2 inches (88.9 × 50.8 mm). Most of Europe and Asia use 85 × 55 mm. Pick your size and the files are made at exactly that size.

Are the files good enough for professional printing?

Yes. PNGs are 300 DPI at the exact card size, the resolution print shops ask for, and the SVG is a vector file that stays sharp at any size. If your printer asks for bleed, ask them to extend the background colour, or use the Classic or Centred design, which have white backgrounds.

What does the QR code on the back do?

Choose Website to open your site when scanned, or Save contact to add your name, phone, email and company straight to the phone’s contacts. The QR code holds the information itself, so it never expires.

Is my information uploaded?

No. The card, the QR code and the print files are all created in your browser. Your details and logo never leave your device.
