Frequently asked questions

Is a drawn signature image legally binding?

In many countries an electronic signature can be valid for everyday agreements, but laws differ, and some documents (wills, property deeds, certain contracts) need a handwritten or certified digital signature. If in doubt, check the rules for your document and country.

Is my signature uploaded anywhere?

No. It is drawn and saved entirely in your browser, and the PNG goes straight to your device. OZO never sees it.

Why does the download have a transparent background?

So the signature sits naturally on any document, letterhead or coloured background, just like ink on paper.

How do I sign a PDF with this?
